I created the Mindfulness Journey as a way to teach others how to create and practice Mindfulness in their life. Mindfulness was introduced to me several years ago after I was in a serious motor vehicle accident as a way to help me to decrease my feelings of anxiety. After learning about mindfulness and starting my practice I was able to quickly see the results as my anxiety started to decrease. With time, as my practice deepened, I continued to see the benefits of mindfulness and how it has permeated every area of my life.
The Mindfulness Journey is a mindfulness meditation company that I started so that other people can learn the practice. My specific focus of Mindfulness and the future of the Mindfulness Journey is in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. This is the form of mindfulness that I practiced after my accident.
Mindfulness and MBSR created such a positive, life changing, impact in my life that I started the training pathway to become a certified MBSR teacher. At this moment I have completed all of the training needed to be qualified to teach the 8 week MBSR program that was created by Jon Kabat-Zinn.
